Modify DNS-Zone
To modify a DNS-Zone, you must use "list DNS-Zones" and select your zone, you will modify!
When you search your DNS-Zone in the list, you must enter the name of your domain with a following Dot!
New clients used in the most the new MWI2, under the URL: config2.1awww.com
All other clients used in the most the old MWI, under the URL: config.1awww.com

1. It´s easier to understand the DNS-Entries, when you click in the Box "Fully qualified domain names" - click only and wait, then look to the second Picture!
The @ symbol was now sign as the main-domain-name and the www entry as www.maindomain.xx

Infos and Remarks:
1st. In our 1awww.com shared Webspaces, you can add your domain to your webspace with a automatic function and all settings in the DNS-Zone (creating when not exists), will been set for your domain/subdomain without a manual setting in the DNS-Zones! More Infos to Auto-Add domains to DNS-Zone
2nd. Never is a good idea, to redirect domains to other domains! Search-engines dont like this! Better is, you set the domain via A entries direct to the webspace on your server, via the IP of this server!
3rd. It´s better to, you set in a DNS-Zone, when the entries not created automaticly one entry for the main-domain to your IP and a alias-Record for the www.domain to your IP, too! So the users can use in the Explorer as an URL:
http://yourMeinDomain.com or http://www.YourMainDomain.com
When you have not an entry for the www.Alias-Domain, differented browser will not find your website!
4th. Every changings in a DNS-Zone change automaticly the SOA-serial-number. So you must not change this entry too! Click when finished only on the "OK-Button" in the Top of the Page!
5th. All changings in a DNS-Zone, needs beetween minutes and max. 24 hours, so the worldwide server has learn your new settings! A other problem is your computer, about a cache problem: So you must clean your DNS-Cache with the DOS-Box-Command ipconfig /flushdns or better you reboot your computer!
